Barajas is a public affairs and strategic communications professional with more than two decades of experience helping Fortune 100 companies, trade associations, local governments, nonprofit organizations, and political campaigns advance complex policy and regulatory goals. He specializes in messaging, earned media, and digital strategy across issues including agriculture, energy, construction, health care, consumer products, and criminal justice.

He is an on-air political analyst for Univision and Telemundo and a frequent commentator for English-language media outlets.
Born in East Los Angeles and raised in Echo Park, Hector was the first in his family to graduate from college. He lives in Sacramento with his wife, Amy, and their two daughters. Outside of work, he enjoys writing about current events, watching his daughters compete in music and sports, and rooting for the Dodgers.
