Communications Researcher and Consultant

Lindsey Munoz is a communications specialist with expertise in research, editing, content creation, social media management, and client relations.

A proud UC Berkeley graduate with a psychology degree, she is deeply committed to informing communities about key issues. Her dedication is reflected in her freelance work for local news media, where she conducts in-depth research, editing, and content development on California legislation and current events.

Beyond communications, Lindsey has had an exceptional softball career at the national and international levels. In 2012 and 2013, she played for the USA National Team, earning silver and gold medals, respectively. In 2014, she joined the USSSA Pride Professional Softball Team for an exhibition tour in Italy, where she also led instructional clinics for youth coaches.

Since 2014, she has been the Co-Head Coach of Lady Magic–Munoz, shaping the next generation of athletes.

During her collegiate years at UC Berkeley, Lindsey was a standout player. She made postseason appearances all four years and ranked fourth in career home runs (42) and fifth in RBIs (151). Her achievements earned her multiple accolades, including Pac-12 Softball Scholar-Athlete of the Year and numerous academic and athletic honors.

For the past seven years, Lindsey has led the social media strategy for local youth sports programs, leveraging her strategic and creative expertise to enhance engagement and visibility.

Lindsey believes that knowledge can transform lives and has dedicated herself to ensuring essential information reaches those who need it most through her non-profit initiatives and professional endeavors. She resides in Elk Grove with her husband Erine and their two children.
